Lincoln Logs is an American building toy invented in 1916 by John Lloyd Wright, the son of the architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The toy consisted of small wooden logs with notches that allowed users to build structures such as log houses and forts. It was first marketed to the public in 1918 by the Red Square Toy Company, which was later renamed J. L. Wright Manufacturing. Since then, the company has changed hands multiple times, and Lincoln Logs remains available to the public.
